Equipment Protection

One of the most important things any business owner should do is protect their assets. Unfortunately, it is not always easy to spot a small problem with a grain handling equipment before it results in either product loss or equipment damage. Both of these problems increase labor costs and can result in capital losses. Automating the grain handling system enables the user to not only detect these problems quickly, but allows the system to shut itself down to avoid or at least minimize any losses. Through the use of sensors, the central control system can detect unexpected conveying system shutdowns and speed changes that are typically precursors to system failures. Once an issue is detected, the automated system would begin a controlled shutdown of the system. This controlled shutdown will not only prevent loss, but will allow for a quicker restart of the grain handling system once the issue has been addressed.
